As the game went on today, I noticed Bradley staying back more and Jones pushing forward. This may be a better combo than Bradley up front. Less pressure on Bradley to create, which he has not done so far. I think Bradley is better when the game comes to him instead of him pushing the game.

Although Jones is a bit sloppy with passes, too.
Jones is what is known as a box-to-box midfielder and he is pretty good at it from what I can see. He gave the Germans more problems than any of our other players today. I agree that Bradley should stay back more and play the holding role. For one thing, if he does push forward and USA get caught on the break, he simply doesn't have the pace to get back.
I would also like to see Beasley getting forward on the overlap more often. As a former winger, he should have the pace and guile to cause problems.

Beasley is best going forward, he plays like me on defense...gets beat, then recovers, then gets beat and recovers in time. He looked really good today though. There was one time he did two cut backs and beat three defenders running up the left wing. It reminded me of Maradona...that's a joke, but it looked good. I like when he or Fabian are pushing forward, they both create problems when pushing forward.
