... then BOTH Germany and the USA qualify to the Round of 16

Germany would come in the 1st place in the group, due to the 4 goals in the match against Portugal....

The USA would come in second in the group... Not bad...

So, how suspicious it would look, if the match DOES end in a draw?

Happens all the time. No big deal.

Nevertheless, the game will NOT end tied. Germany will win.

But if it does end in a draw, expect to hear about related "conspiracies" for a long time...

And the Portuguese will be the ones who will talk about it the most

I doubt Germany would do that.

I have a relative in Germany. They were furious their game against Ghana was a draw. They even closed some subway stations because they were afraid of riots

One of German players Miroslav Klose is one goal away from breaking a world record. He is not gonna go for that either.

Portugal got very lucky at the end. Germany will be a very tough game for the United States. USA could very well win that game. I actually think the USA team is a lot better than most people give them credit for. Once USA makes it to the knockout rounds, anything can happen. They just might make a deep run.

I was too amazed at how well the US played. They did much better in this game than with Ghana. I think we might just beat the Germans or if not a draw.

I think the USA has proven that we at least compete against any country in the world. Though it may not happen, I would love for the USA to play Brazil in this World Cup just to show to the world that the United States can compete against the best.

But I'm still worried about a potential loss! This group is too close. What if Ghana step up and beat Portugal? They almost beat Germany! Surely they can beat Portugal! That's four points right there.

That's true but the US would hold the tie-breaker since they won their earlier match against Ghana.
