Welbeck I thought was weak too. I don't even know what Gerrard was thinking!

They'll be ready for the Euros though. I predict they'll work out the kinks and make it happen.

I'll be rooting for them and the French who are my two fav Euro teams.
I think the consensus was that we would be good going forward, but poor in defence.. I would have expected us to score more than 2 goals with the forward players we have! Many of us don't think that Rooney should be starting any more.. to be honest I just don't think he fits in our system and he has lost it really!

We could be dark horses for the Euros, but I won't get my hopes up as we have been good going into tournaments before but still disappointed! I think France are really good at the moment as well

And they were eliminated in group play in Brazil as reigning WC champions.

You can't say they are terrible now though. hard to keep up the motivation after winning 3 trophies on the bounce..

They were.. I don't doubt their quality though. Still have the best squad behind Germany I'd say. Just a lack of motivation

Best squad after Germany might be France at this stage.

France have a good squad, but a lot are young and unproven IMO.

They will be great though, so many good young players

It could be England IF the new young players mature together as a team. So far they actually have the best young talent.,

I think we have great talent, I'm just doubtful about them playing well together at international stage.. it has happened so many times before, we just are not good under pressure unfortunately!
