Well they just got a win which they should be happy about. But yeah there's a lot of work ahead. Really I get worried when I hear 'clear-outs' though after BR has spent a bundle. How could talent fizzle away so quick? I don't know. The guy at Manu seems to have figured out something after a shaky start. No doubt it's BR's turn now. I hope he has the wherewithal to do it.

Rumor of Balotelli off to Italy and Torres to Liverpool on loan because Milan dont want him. It cant get much worse, a poor keeper and a guy who hasn't scored in years is possibly the highest Liverpool's ambition goes.

Well we're going into the second half of the league season. Gaal over there seems to be working things out. I'm keen on BR doing the same to right a listing ship so far....and to do it better! I wouldn't mind if he called the 'special one' .....;-)....

Oh boy ...goals galore over Swansea...Lallana on fire... Could be a breakout game for Pool and to give them a chance to get some ground against the League leaders.

I think Liverpool are a little too far out of it at this time. Was it a good win? Yes. But does it signal the rebirth of the team, no. I still think Liverpool will finish around 7-8 this season.

You know considering the form we've been seeing compared to the closing end of last season I'd think you're not off the mark. But the second half of the season needs to be played. Mix in Sturr, formations and players that are learning to gel and maybe going back to basics regarding defense that might make them go higher. In any case I don't doubt it will be tough. Every game counts now and it's no secret that on any given Sat or Sun no team has the game locked up.

Torres has gone back to his former club Athletico Madrid, on loan from AC Milan.

I see Gerrard is going to the U.S later on. Liverpool may get some traction out of that. Maybe MLS too!?

It'll be interesting to see how marketable Gerrard is in America. Surely he will be levels below Beckham who consistently put butts in the seats and gave the league its biggest era of attention.

But Gerrard will be more popular than Thierry Henry whose star power was barely noticeable.
