Group A: Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Olympiacos, Malmo
Group B: Real Madrid, Basel, Liverpool, Ludogorets
Group C: Benfica, Zenit St. Petersburg, Bayer Leverkusen, Monaco
Group D: Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray, Anderlecht
Group E: Bayern Munich, Manchester City, CSKA Moscow, Roma
Group F: Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Ajax, APOEL
Group G: Chelsea, Schalke, Sporting Lisbon, Maribor
Group H: Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, Athletic Bilbao, BATE Borisov

First impressions: Group E is the most difficult? Maybe F?

I realized I had a hard time picking my 2 choices in Groups C and E.

I vote Group C for the most balanced and E the most difficult.

You lost some amazing drama last night. Malmö FF smashed Salzburg with two wondergoals and a dubious penalty, qualifying for the Champions League as the first Swedish team in 14 years! The Swedes go absolutely nuts.

Later, Ludogorets Razgrad - Steaua Bucharest. Dramatic equaliser in the 90th minute and extra time. With one minute left Ludo's goalie takes a red card, all substitutions used, and central defender Cosmin Moti has to go in goal. He shoots the first penalty in himself and saves two, and Ludogorets qualifies for the first time!

It doesn't get any better than this. Unbelievable drama.

I heard about the defender playing as goalie, but I was busy watching Cruzeiro (a big traditional club in Brazil) to smash a third division club in the Brazilian Cup. I thought maybe they would act like Manchester United and be smashed by a third division club like in the English Cup, but they didn't

Thing is, time available to watch soccer is never enough for me, so I have to be selective

Things don't look good for Shakhtar

BBC Sport - Shakhtar Donetsk's Donbass Arena suffers bomb damage

They do have a manageable group at least
