I think it would suck to live in an area where the only teams I can support are a drinks franchise or man city knockoff.

But you can claim it and create your own culture. Red Bull Salzburg are hardly a powerhouse but have a great support.

Better than Villa's goal was his assist. I was watching it with one of my boys, and he says, "wow, Villa did an elastico, I only see that at my games." He's eight. Truthfully, I'm not sure if it really was an elastico, but that's how he viewed it.

Yeah Fire sucks, again. They haven't been really good since Blanco.

I wonder when the Fire are just gonna clean the whole front office out and start spending some money. We had a good preseason run of acquisitions (welcome back, Busch!), but this is getting ridiculous. Starting 0-3 is not how I wanted to start the season.

Colorado had a decent game against Man City Knockoff FC. Two games with no goals conceded is huge for us but were still like 125 games without a win. Our defence is doing better as is midfield, Torres is finally moving. He ran more in two games than he did all last season but we lack killer finish still. We need Kevin Doyle so bad but have to wait till July 1, I am not sure how we can last tbh. It wont be long before 0-0 turns into losses then confidence goes out the window.

New ownership and/or the return of P.W. is needed. Until then...this is what the Fire will look like.

I was hoping the addition of Pause to the office would've had a positive impact somehow, someway, but I guess not.

One disappointing this is that some players, like Dempsey, Bradley and Altidore basically said where they wanted to go. When J Jones said that the MLS said too bad. Single Entity is annoying.

Single entity does suck, MLS decides where players will go so they pick the eventual winners pretty much. Colorado had a player train with them for a month then when it came time to signing him MLS decided he needed to be elsewhere. Joke of a league sometimes.

Hopefully as MLS matures, more revenue is generated and more teams get added the single entity system goes away giving the players the freedom they want and deserve. It'll take time, though.
