What soccer team are Americans-Canadians-Mexicans on this forum pulling for in the 2018 FIFA World Cup?
So basically as the question reads. Feel welcome to give a reason why, state your opinions on the FIFA World Cup thus far, engage in (hopefully) friendly discussions for your choice and the games this year.
I was rooting for Iceland, least populous country to make the World Cup. It started well then went down hill fast. I'm Polish American so I was rooting for Poland, and another crapper. Right now I want to say Belgium, somebody who hasn't won before. I'm rooting against Brazil, Argentina, France, Spain and England.
I'm pulling for Uruguay, and Senegal. Got to go with the underdogs from outside of Europe. Colombia has been fun to watch too. Hoping it isn't Argentina, Brazil, France or Spain.
I would guess that the Mexicans are probably rooting for Mexico. As an American, though, I am personally hoping for England. They have such a great and storied tradition, but haven't won a WC in over 60 years.
I'm an American soccer fan, I always instinctively root against Mexico.
I liked the second half beating Sweden put on Mexico, so I'm jumping on the Swedish bandwagon.
