I do watch a La Liga match or 2 from time to time. The EPL is broadcast live by my satellite provider and they show at least 10 games a week live. Something about watching a match that was played last Monday that just doesn't do it for me.

Real may have the deepest pockets in the world, but I may disagree with you about the rest of your post. But any soccer fan is a friend of mine! Hope Real has a great year for ya. I am big Wesley Sneijder fan so I do keep my eye on Real Madrid. For only a 5' 7" frame, that guy is a fricken stud!

Ye sneijder is a great player, too bad he got seriously injured in a game against arsenel just last week.

I get excited that many leagues are starting and more soccer will be on TV, but my #1 league has been in season for months now.

I was reading the Sky Sports website, and many of the pundits there are picking Spurs to finish 5th, which puts them in the UEFA Cup. We'll see. That club always seems to underwhelm in spite of its deep pockets and large fan base.

To my fellow Evertonians on the board.....Have faith, mates. Moyes will get some guys in. Hopefully Cahill can stay healthy, Arteta returns to form and we can get some silverware this year. Obviously it will be tough to crack the top 4, but an FA Cup or Carling Cup title would be nice. The UEFA Cup would be better.
