The only problem is that both TX teams are struggling attracting fans. Dallas especially, they built their stadium in BFE and wonder why no one goes to their games. I think San Antonio would've been a better choice than Dallas but what's done is done. I don't think TX will get another team for quite a while.

Thats crap. Houston had like 30,000 just 2 weeks ago for their playoff game. No attendance issues in Houston. Dallas, yes, there is a problem.

Yeah, Dallas has a lot of problems. The only time I've been to a game where the stadium was filled was against LA last year with Beckham drawing all the fans. Other than that, it seems like there is always less than half the stadium filled. It's a very nice stadium, but location means a lot. Maybe they should consider Jerry world. As far as Houston goes, I agree with sp2007. Always seems to be good attendance.

How could they be a better choice when they have never been an option? You cant put a team in a city when there is no one to own them. Dallas had Lamar Hunt as a qualified owner and that is why they received a team.

You're right because there are no ownership groups submitting bids to the MLS for teams.

Garber said yesterday in his state of the league address that he is in talks with Montreal for becoming the 19th MLS team. As of right now, there are no other ownership groups in talks with the MLS about expanding.
