While I appreciate their efforts for the USMNT, and I wish them well with Rangers, is that really the appropriate forum for waving the U.S. flag?

Soccer is a international game, its quite common to see that stuff at celebrations. And they were flying it in the UK, not Iraq. And who cares anyways??? We have to see flags from all nationalities flying here, too bad that they have to see ours for a few minutes!

We see foreign flags hanging for certain players at MLS games here. I don't think Rangers supporters mind it.

That's what I was going to say. Just about any time you see an USMNT game vs and other American continent team, they are the minority, even when playing in the U.S.

I don't see a problem with it. Being proud of your home? What's wrong with that? I have seen, Ronaldo, Tevez, Drogba, Ballack, Cech, Kuyt, Ibrahimovic, etc, the list goes on and on of players that have sported their national colors at the club level. I think it's kinda cool.

It is wonderful to see American colors waving inside foreign football stadiums. I would like to see what these guys did more often, not less often.
