Football aka Soccer
Does anyone here support any teams ? US or otherwise ?
I support and went to Shelbourne FC in Ireland for close to 13 years. Since moving to New Mexico four years ago (ish) I havent been to a game but have watched New England Revs when Richie Baker (a then former, then current now former again shelbourne fc player) but was more interested in Colorado Rapids with them being close. Ive taken the plunge and convinced 4 people to travel to Denver with me in June and July to get in a couple of other games, cant wait!

Yes, I love real football I don't care too much for the MLS, maybe one day it will grow enough and I will like it more.
For now I follow mainly the European legues: Italy, Spain, and England in particular...and the Brazilian league.

Nothing to beat a Saturday morning Premier League game on the tube while eating a leisurely breakfast. UEFA Champion's League matches are also intriguing as they allow you see the top sides from each league head-to-head.
Watched (tried to, anyway) an MLS game the other night featuring Toronto FC and Deportivo something or other. Found the skill level to be very disappointing and, as a result, the interest factor was nil.

I have to support a team, so i chose Colorado because theyre close. Its more realistic that ill go to them often. I cant walk by a highschool game without picking a team that i want to win! Im not a huge fan of the English league any more, though i still have a soft spot for Liverpool.

I LOVE football (soccer), playing, watching or otherwise however it's difficult for me to watch the MLS regularly because the skill level especially on passes is very poor. I get bored with it, but I do like DC United. I also like Juventus in Italian league and the US national team of course. What do you guys think about Zidane coming to the US?

Zidane would play good hear, as will Beckham, but its a joke to everything MLS has tried to do in recent years. They must not become a retirement league for players who cant play top league football in europe anymore.
Fuse, how can you support two national teams ?
