Wannabe English beat the Wannabe Irish in the world's least competitive league...
More like those loyal to their country (and unity with England) beat those who'd rather live in Ireland (but live in Scotland and fly their Irish flags) in a fun league that happens to be lopsided.
Those loyal to the queen [of England] sure loved racially abusing Maurice Edu this week. Stay classy!
By the way, the Gaels actually came from Ireland to Scotland. They have a common ethnicity. The English are mostly Saxon invaders who ran out the Celtic peoples, Cornwall and Cumbria aside.
I agree with Hengist it would be the best thing ever for rangers and celtic to get in to the english premiership.....
that said sadly i dont see it happening
Although it would probably be the best thing ever for Scottish football if they did go.
It would be better for English football too.
The Scottish league may be uncompetitive but is England really much better? After all, who is ever in contention in England? Man Utd., Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool .... anyone else? Not really.

Well, City and Tottenham seemed determined to make a run, and Aston Villa is now well-financed. In time, we'll see. I suspect your correct, however, and the top four won't change.
I'm sticking with a suggestion I made some time ago in another thread....at least let the SPL clubs play in the FA Cup.
