Yes the US might beat Algeria, but it's really a 50/50 game it could go either way. But if you knew anything about soccer you would know that the US have no chance of reaching the top four.

No offence but the US soccer team simply is NOT good enough. The US does not have any world class players. It's ok to root for your country but please be realistic.

If you are aiming to reach the semi final's then you must do better than draw 2-2 with Slovenia. Countrys like Argentina, Brazil, Italy, The Netherlands, Germany etc etc would have smashed Slovenia with ease... France, Spain would have done it aswell but their form is terrible at the moment.

And what makes you think that? You don't have single world class player in your team, nor do you have a world class coach, nor do you have any following what so ever.

Just because you are American doesn't mean you can just walk into a sport and dominate just like that.

For an American to say that you are ready for soccer greatness is the equiliant of an English an saying that they are ready for Baseball greatness.

It's not a case of underestimating the USA. It's a case of being REALISTIC.

In the last world cup of 2006 you did not even win a single game and you finished in the last place in your group. Except for a few changes it's still pretty much the same team now that there was 4 years ago. What makes you think that the US will now suddenly become a world class team even though the same team couldn't even win a game 4 years ago?

Not so sure. Italy just drew with New Zealand. And France is an absolute mess right now.

But you're correct...the U.S. won't make the top four. If the U.S can reach the semifinals again like we did in 2002, it would be a tremendous accomplishment.

USA got robbed of the winning goal vs Slovenia.

If USA beats Alergia, are we in the second round?

True but if the U.S where a semi-final standard team they would have smashed Slovenia with ease anyway... Teams that reach the semis don't even struggle with teams like Slovenia.

The U.S reached the quarter finals in 2002 not the semis.
