Slovenia has been giving lots of teams problems. They are one of the most unrated teams in the world.
Any team can struggle against any other team on any day. Once the US gained their footing after early struggles, they handled Slovenia just fine.
I'm not saying that the US will reach the semis but with the way this tournament is shaping up and the possibility that we will see a knockout round without France, Italy, England, and maybe some other traditional powerhouse sides, it isnt out of the question. The US is playing with as much heart as anyone and that can take you a long way.
The US may face Ghana in the next round which is a very winnable game. With France likely out, it would be Mexico or Uruguay next which are both beatable.
