You are incorrect. There is NO other team in Scotland worth a darn.

I'm sorry to say that the Scottish premier league is obviously not a truely competetive one.
Since 1985 only two teams other than Celtic or Rangers have won the old first division & or premier league, Aberdeen in 1985 & Hearts in 1998.
It' a second rate league and it's showing in their performances in the European competitions, and it's only going to get worse.

Of course, the English Premier League is so much more competitive. Lets see, just 4 clubs have actually won it since its inception in 1992 and one of those clubs, Manchester Utd., has won it a total of 11 times in that period. Arsenal have managed just 3 wins, Chelsea two and Blackburn one.

And the same is true for just about any other European League you care to mention. They are all dominated by a couple of teams whether it be Spain, Italy, Germany or France. And the only reason that lot do better in the CL is because of the way the big countries have cornered the big money. Thus, they are successful on the back of imported players but they don't actually develop their own any more.

Equally, they are increasingly alienated from their local support. As the saying goes "how many Man Utd. supporters does it take to change a light bulb?". The answer is "Two". One to change the bulb and one to drive the car up from London.

Competitive? Nah ... don't need any sermons on that one.

And your beloved EPL is soooo balanced?

Dont get me wrong, I love the EPL and SPL, but dont criticize the SPL because the EPL isnt very competetive either in terms of victorious teams.

On another note, Gers lost 2-1 to Celtic. No worries, WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS. Again.

Meaningless game for us. They needed it because .... well .... they don't have anything else this season.
