Default Concerned

We are considering moving to Greenville for the weather, quality of life, etc.
However over the past couple of weeks I have been noticing alot of really violent crime. Is this typical? For instancethis past weekend a pawn shop owner was killed a murder suicide. I could see if this was NYC but this is Greenville supposedly a nice family oriented city with a Christian presence. Can some one fill me in as to what Iam missing thanks

No, you are correct. Several murders, robberies, etc. can't understand it myself. No place is perfect.

You can check it out on greenvilleonline. They had a pawn shop killing over the weekend, and today a bank robbery in Taylors. Just when you thought it was safe...

I wouldn't call this a "crime emergency" however. Greenville's crime rate tends to be the lowest of all of SC's major cities, so I don't think you guys really have anything to worry about as long as you take the proper precautions and use common sense.

Something else you see all the time there is car crashes. We're not talking fender benders but alot of running off the road and people being killed by it. What is with this?

Today's headlines:

Man convicted as peeping tom.
Wife charged with killing her husband.
Liberty man dies in car crash.

in most of the car accidents the driver or passenger is not wearing a seat belt.

As mentioned earlier in a previous post. No place is perfect hre in my little crap town of 1300 there was a robbery and guess where they found the perp?
In the woods behind my house. I was sitting here at my PC and heard a dog
barking I thought it was strange because behind my house is nothing for miles. Well as it turned out it was a police dog and he had the guy chased into a swamp behind my house So I guess no place is perfect.

MrMr is on a distinguished road
Marks, most crimes are commited by poor Meth smoking people who cant read or write. Meth is a HUGE problem in the south, and it motivates alot of crime, and also car crashes, if you ask me. That, and 90% of southerners are not very aggressive on the highway...that slow pace of life does not translate well to major interstate highways.
