"The SC Small Business Chamber of Commerce is adding 'action campaigns' to its BuySC program, which prompts residents to buy locally-made products," The State newspaper reports this morning. They're going to start with mom and pop hardware stores in Columbia to try to stave off the effects of big box chains. The next campaign will be for local banks. I got this information from a blurb in the paper this morning. I can't find it online to create a link.
