Actually my questions is why do people tend to drive slower than the posted speed limit on 2 lane roads in Beaufort and the surrounding areas? Also does anybody else besides me think thet widening of US21 from the City of Beaufort to St Helena Island from 2 (passable lanes) to 3 lanes WHERE IT ILLEGALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO PASS a stupid idea??? I have family down on the island but I hate driving on their roads due to backwards drivers that are stuck in a timezone 30 years in the past. That was my rant on here.

Yes,it was quite stupid, but it was done to appease black residents, same reason that the road wasn't widened all the way out in one go...

I simply LOVE how people will wait until you are almost at an intersection before pulling out in front of you, something people out this way are REALLY good at too.

Ha it's not just a Beaufort thing. It's throughout the whole state. Face it daily here in Charleston.

There's another post that laments the closing of numerous businesses. Are the slow drivers cruising around to pick over the remains?
