Myself and a couple friends would like to do a 2-3 day hike of the Appalachian Trail. Does anybody have tips on good places to start/particularly good stretches to hike?

Janice, the AT does not go into S.C. Georgia to Maine. However, I have hiked most of the N.C./Tenn. trail. Hot Springs to Allen Gap is a great hike. Great views of the river. Good luck. Enjoy!
