I am looking to relocate to Columbia, SC and would like some honest opinions in regards to nice places to live and affordable rental apartments, and jobs to be had. Just need some good advice.
Forest Acres, Irmo, Shandon, Downtown, and Lexington are all nice. I would stay away from Some parts of Broad River Rd and North main. As far as a job, that will be the hard part. What kind of job are you looking for? I have lived here for 9 years and have really enjoyed it. I do have to warn you...it is really hot in the summer. People are generally friendly and the cost of living is low.
