Question small town w/ Main St within a 25-50 mile radius of Mt Holly

This is a wonderful site and you are full of great information. My son and grandkids have moved to Mt Holly. We are looking for a small town with a Main St within a 25-50 mile radius of them.
Many thanks, Kathydd

some of the places you might check out that are within an (apx.) 25 mile radius (with a Main St.) from Mt. Holly would be:

Clover, SC
Fort Mill, SC

Farther out would be:

York, SC
Rock Hill, SC

Definitions of a Main Street might be different for some...but what you would find on these streets would be...antiques, hardware stores, small eateries, etc.

Lastly...not to say that there aren't other small towns that would meet your distance criteria...but some of these places are (rather depressed) still trying to find their way after the textile/manufacturing left the area.

I would throw York, SC in there also. Nice, quaint Main Street with character for a town its size.

MT Holly is located in NC close to the SC border. Some small towns nearby in NC include Belmont, Bessemer city, Lucia, Denver, Stanley and Gastonia is bigger by not really a big city type of town.
