Anyone in Saluda, SC

We are looking to relocate to SC in the next month or too (boyfriend grew up in Greenwood) and have found a wonderful old house to renovate. I am kinof concerned about the town. We are moving from Atlanta suburbs and won't miss the traffic or crime, but are worried about the city of Saluda. Does anyone live there and have any comments? Please only answer with your own experiences. I need tride-and-true info in this situation.
