Yes, I can tell you about Lyman. It is a very small town in Spartanburg County that is a former "mill village" (town that was built-up around a former textile mill). So there are a lot of older mill village houses (particular style) plus some nicer older homes. Then in other parts there are some newer home middle-class subdivisions but not too many. It is located in one of the higher-ranked school districts in Spartanburg County (District Five). For anything other than the grocery store or fast food you pretty much would have to go to Spartanburg, Greer, or Duncan - each of which would be roughly 10-15 minutes away from Lyman give or take.
