baylovers - thanks for the tax info. and link
You're welcome...

Someone mentioned Sun City in Bluffton. My parents moved there last year and I was very impressed by the community. They have a ton of clubs, sports & activities for just about everyone. The grounds are kept well and the convenience to shopping, doctors etc is pretty good.

I assume that the other Sun City locations are similar. It certainly changed my view of 55+ communities.

Iv'e always found it ironic how many "NCliners" are quick to throw stones at SC especially considering how "progressive" and "open minded, & accepting", they claim to be? But that's just my take on the state.

[I did a tour and i think they give all residents a golf cart to drive to the town center to encourage less driving on the roads]....and there's Sun City also....

It depends on what area you are coming from and what do you like....where are y'all from?
Taditions looks very interesting for us..I couldn't find any info on the home prices..? Do you know the price range? Our budget is $400, 000 or under. Tks!
