1. Change your address with your auto insurance company
2. Fax NC registrations to York Tax Auditor's Office. 803-684-8563.
3. Go online (after 24 hours) and pay tax bill on :: York County Government Home ::. Print receipts.
4. Fill out form 400 from SC DMV website http://www.scdmvonline.com/DMVNew/forms/400.pdf
5. Go to DMV with existing title and registration, completed form 400, receipts from paid property tax, proof of insurance, and money to pay Title and Registration fees (about $40 bucks from what I can determine)
I am ready for step 5, which I will do next week. Check out the SC DMV website, it is prettty good for information:

Man will this save me a ton of time...quick question. When you fax your NC registration over, who do you address it to? I mean so they get a fax of someones registration from another State, do they automatically do something with it? I'm lost on that part.
Thanks for the info
