I can speak on this after growing up in Columbia and Sumter, SC. Then living in San Diego for 6 years.

California is filled with beautiful people. People in the deep south (Ga,SC,La,Ms,Al,some of florida and texas, tn).
Living in South Carolina was the worst experience of my life. Once I left I was in heaven.
Its redneck trailer trash and monkey ape ghetto thug trash.
Hopefully either a hurricane or a fleet of fighter jets will destroy the state.

I've been reading here a lot lately and this thread actually made me sign up and post. I'm just wondering where in Calfornia you're talking about because I've lived all over CA and, honestly, I just don't see what you're talking about. People here look like people everywhere else. California is not Baywatch or The OC. There is lowlife trash here in the Sunshine State as well (and thanks for pointing that out for everyone with your post). I'm taking a wild guess here, but I'm betting that the deep South doesn't have a monopoly on the chronically stupid. You can find lowlife scum in just about every one of the 50 states. But I'm just guessing here.

I dream of getting away from a lot of the image conscious people that I live near. Not that all Californians are this way, but many I know are. We're hoping to be moving to "the backwards country" in about a year. I personally can't wait.
