Who said ten years? In the first post, he said 1980-2009. That's accurate. 3.1 million in 1980, 4.6 million in 2010.

That is almost a 30 year period of course our population increased during that length of time. Goodness I was a stay at home mom and we built a new home on 4 acres of land back in those days ... times were good. One salary coming in and living the life.

But today ... our economy is in the toilet ... we are fourth in the nation with unemployment .... even with all our woes South Carolina is still the best.
