Default Hilton Head area?

Don't see much on Hilton Head area as a retirement area?

I've been looking at the New Bern NC area, but some friends recently purchased some property in Hilton Head, and like the area very much.

Looks like HH has been spared hurricanes?

How is medical care for retirees?

Thank you,.....marc

Hilton Head is a great retirement area. I'm not sure what you enjoy but it's a wonderful resort town.

My parents live in Bluffton and go to HH for most of their doctors. The area is very much retirement geared but it is certainly an expensive area in comparison to the rest of the state.
