Talking North Augusta SC?

Does anyone know anything about North Augusta? I know it's very close to Aiken so if any of you Aiken people tell me how it compares that would be great? Can you get a house under $150,000 with over an acre? How does it compare with Aiken? How' the job market and schools. I still think it's funny that a suburb of Augusta Ga is in SC!

Read my question further down the page. I did not go into the city of N. Augusta on my visit but I heard it was nice. The thing is you are so close to Aiken and Augusta, GA it is not a factor. Also, if you go onto Realtor.com and put in zip code 29841 you can see what you can get for under $150,00. I hope this helps you.

We looked at a few houses in North Augusta when we were house hunting. They were all older homes, as our budget was very small. They are building some awesome new homes there.

My general impression of the place was that is a bigger town than Aiken with more "stuff". Much closer to Augusta if you are needing to commute for a job. Please consider this area for relocation.
