Default What can you tell me about Liberty??

I was looking online and saw some houses for sale in Willowstone development in Liberty. Can someone give me an idea of what that area is like? Where can you get the most home/land for the $ within 20 min. of G'ville? We like the Wren schools, but what other schools in the area around G'ville have a good reputation?
We are basically looking for small town living that is affordable with a bit of land (1-3 acres) so we are not right on top of our neighbors.
Thanks for the help!

Default living in liberty

Living near liberty is fantastic, but you do not want to live inside the city limits. The tax rate is one of the highest in the state, you pay thru the nose for water and sewer. The fire department and police department is always in some kind of scandal.

Stay on the outskirts of Liberty. What is your price range for the home and land you are looking for if I know that I could tell you more.

Hi mjmom,
I guess our price range would be anything under $180,000. Why do you suggest staying on the outskirts? Also, which area is better, the eastern or western side of Liberty? I was looking at houses in the willowstone development there. Any thoughts on that? thanks!
