Hello everyone. I am new to this forum. I am considering moving my family to Port Royal. Does anyone know any information on the place such as jobs, cost of living, nearby attractions, etc? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Port Royal is a little town located outside of Beaufort. Not much there really. I wouldn't think there would be many jobs in that area. Home prices have increased due to it becoming an attractive area for retirement with it's location between Beaufort and Hilton Head. If you have a job in place already it would be okay, but if you are going there looking for work it might be tough. Hilton Head is not that far away, but I wouldn't really consider that much of an attraction unless you like expensive shopping and golfing.
