Default Housing in/near Aiken

I will be arriving in Aiken at the end of this month, working at the SRS site. I will also have my dog with me. I will need to find a rental, preferrably semi-furnished, sometime before December 1. I also need to keep the cost down to around $800 a month. Does anyone have any idea where to look? If my husband and I decide to make this a permanent move, and it is leaning that way, we will be looking for a double wide mobile home.

Thank you for your input.

Not too many mobile homes in Aiken. If you like, I can put you in touch with an excellent Realtor in Aiken who knows all of the areas surrounding SRS. You should not have any trouble getting a rental for under $800.

Thank you, Evey, I would like that.

BTW, what breed of dog are you slave to?

I am slave to a genuine Kinardly (as in, you can hardly tell what kind of a dog she is). She is half golden retriever & half ?????

I sent you a DM with the realtor info.

Try the Polo clubs or horse farms or anyone in the horse community.

This community always has apartments or cottages for their grooms at a good price.

Good luck

have you found a place to live yet? I have a cabin I would consider renting. It is in Salley. Many of our neighbors work at srs.
