Interesting posts. I'm glad you found a place you liked.

I'm just curious about this particular item - critters. Where could you possibly live that is within 70 miles of Charleston, where there are no gators and few mosquitos? I would have to see that to believe it.

I mean, I question whether this is possible. I grew up farther inland than what you are describing, and we had an abundance of both. I'm looking at places on a map that are in the region you're talking about (Bamberg, St. George, Allendale, etc), and there are definitely plenty of gators running around there.
