I'd recommend extending the broadness of your search a state or two around here and then narrowing down to one or two spots in those respective states. Then I would especially recommend you get a job...or at least an interview or two before moving. As far as your actual degree is concerned, that makes Greenville and Columbia the only places you might even have a chance in SC. Rock Hill sure...but you might as well as go ahead and move to Charlotte if that's the case because Rock Hill's just a big suburb for Charlotte anyhow.

Btw, it would also help to know some crucial things you're looking for in where you're moving. Penn to SC is quite the culture shock and you may find yourself extremely bored and stressed with the driving (note that no matter what forum post you might visit in the SC section someone is mentioning something about somewhere 'close' that's 2, 3, 4+ hours away)

I suppose the variety of things I enjoy could come in handy here. I'm not a difficult person to please. I like beaches, mountains, rivers, hiking, camping, fishing, and most importantly, hot weather. As far as the culture shock, I actually can't stand the people I live around now, so maybe moving could be the best thing for me.

Thank you for the advice, by the way. I don't plan to move without a job. I'll save the money up and drive down for interviews.
