Please if someone can give me some info about following area .

Foxwood Hills Property Owners Association
Stats about all US cities - real estate, relocation info, crime, house prices, cost of living, races, home value estimator, recent sales, income, photos, schools, maps, weather, neighborhoods, and more
800 Hickory Trail office 864.647.9510

I have never been in SC at all , lived on west coast .
Now I am in very urgent need to find a place to live in my small RV
with 2 dogs .
My budget is way to low to consider California .
I spent 3 years in Mexico, but it did not work for me .
I have 10k savings , and would like very much to buy lot, where I can live in RV .
I found adds on craigslist , sounds almost to good to be true .
Lots for 7-10k . What is the catch ?

Any and all information very appreciated .
thanks

The catch is there's an annual fee in addition to the sale price.

Default please share if you know

Great, thank you very much for information .

Does anybody know a little more about this area , how high are annual fees ? any amenities included ?
how is and where is the closest town with any shopping/dinning/social life scene ?
I am also very much interested in natural scenery of the area .
Is it a little bit mountainous already, or flat ? Is it green ?
Are quite a bit people live close by to the lake , or is it rather rural,
and maybe vacation spot ? How cold is in the winter ?

thanks you e

For the POA fees, I would call the office number from the website: Office: 864-647-9510 or one of the owners of the RV lot properties in the document on the web site. Anyone wanting to sell a lot should have the information available.

Otherwise, I only know that Westminster is in the mountains. The larger nearby town is Walhalla, which has about 4,000 people and maybe some shopping and restaurants. You can check the weather at http://www.city-data.com/city/Westmi...-Carolina.html

There could be some snow in the winter. Lake Oconee was one of the areas we looked at for retirement, so you might do some research on what's around there. I was told that the lake is good for fishing.
