I've looked online about Chapin, but would like some more information.

How is the school system, what areas are nice to live in, how is the housing market. We would like to buy a 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath house

What does Chapin have to offer as to activities for teenagers?

Thanks.

Chapin is a small truly "southern town" they're fighting their growth tooth and nail but they're losing. Land in some parts of Chapin is over 15k an acre now. As for the highschoolers........they'll either learn to hunt, take to the lake, or venture into town for their activities.

Chapin, "The Capitol of Lake Murray", is a small town of a few hundred people adjacent to a large body of water. The Chapin AREA has seen most of its growth occur during the last 20 years. Prices have skyrocketed as folks rush to build lakeside homes, raising the price of other properties as well. Chapin schools are in a district known as Lexington-Richland 5, and are some of the best in the state.
