I Am moving from Pa to South Carolina and would like to be near the beaches my brother is looking at Hilton Head I hear that is an expensive area is that true? I will be on a budget and need to buy
a small home as I have pets . thanks for any advice you all may have. I also will be working in the medical field
If you are on an budget you don't want to go to Hilton Head.
You might want to check out Florence, it is only 1 hour from Mrytle Beach and low housing costs and cost of living in general compared to the cities right at the beach. Florence has good hospitals too.
Orangeburg (1 hour to Charleston) and Myrtle Beach.
