I feel the country is getting away from the true values that have held the people together for as long as the Constitution has been written God and Country and whom ever wants to start a war with either is the nutjob.
your idea of an Uncle Tom is any black or gay person who doesn't step and fetch for Democrats. It is sad how few black and gay people are individuals and think for themselves on politics.
Any black GOP politician is called Uncle Tom by the left. Allen West and Tim Scott both have been called Uncle Toms.
Yet Jim Clyburn is not.
But Nancy Pelosi made a position for Clyburn, on January 3, 2011 the newly created position of Assistant Democratic Leader was established for Clyburn. Clyburn was formerly the House Majority Whip. Steny H. Hoyer was elected Minority Whip defeating Clyburn, so they invent a position for Clyburn. Does that make Clyburn an Uncle Tom or just a token?
It is sad how many American whites can't think for themselves.
What group voted 91% for Obama simply on the basis of his race?
Tip: they weren't white.
That said, it is accurate on both sides of the political spectrum that people are sheep and do not think for themselves, I constantly see articles posted for example on facebook where they are purely written to generate an emotional reaction and contain no facts, and people fall for it just the same.
What group voted 91% for Obama simply on the basis of his race?
Black people historically vote for white Democrats at very similar percentages.
Blacks voted 88% for Kerry and 90% for Gore. So saying 91% are voting for Obama because he's black is false.
The black vote for these three polls are within the margin of error of each other, so you can't even say Obama got 1% or 3% more of the black vote than Kerry or Gore.
