Besides the Y, but I just cannot join that gym because its the only one and being agoraphobic and all, everyone goes there that works out. I just couldnt handle it. It would suck seeing so many people ahead of me on the fitness part.

So I feel I have to find someone who has a home gym, or his own fitness room to be able to work out and does anyone know anybody in Hartsville? Sorry but I cannot go to Fitness World in Hartsville.

why can't you go the Y? The YMCA in Hartsville is supposed to be a nice one. You could go in off hours.

Do you see a pyschiatrist/pyschologist for the agoraphobia?

Do a bunch of 12-15 year olds use the YMCA often?

It probably varies from YMCA to YMCA. There will be kids there given they generally have after school daycares plus activies like basketball and swimming. I think most YMCAs have an age restriction on the weightlifting area, you have to be 14 or so to work out in those areas.

I think Florence has an Anytime Fitness which normally are not that crowded and you have 24 hour access with a keycard they give you. That would be a haul from Hartsville just to work out though.

Florence to Hartsville is 25 minutes one way, at least when there's little to no traffic. I suppose if you walked there you wouldn't need the workout.

In any case, why is that the only gym? In case you hadn't noticed, Hartsville isn't all that big. Sucks for you, but if a place like that is going to stay open people have to use it, so...

Have you given any thought to braving one of the flea markets or hitting craigslist for a used home gym or workout bench? Most of the time you can't give those darn things away when you want to get rid of them. Heck put a wanted ad up and offer to pay someone a few bucks for one. If you've got the space, then you can just work out at home.
