Default Marion vs Florence

I'm thinking about moving to South CArolina in June of 2008. Which area is better for children employment?

Florence is not the greatest place, but it's a lot better than Marion. Regarding a child's education, Marion has a private school called Pee Dee Academy. Florence has many more private schools to choose from and the public schools in West Florence are fairly decent.

The employment opportunities in Marion are very limited since the demise of the textile and manufacturing industries. Florence has more diverse employment opportunities in the medical, warehousing, and customer service fields.
