Default Moving to Florence

I am relocating to Florence for a job I have been offered. I am looking for a 3 bdrm house to rent in a decent neighborhood.

I have never even been to Florence, so I don't know the "good" or "bad" sides of town.

Can anyone make recommendations for me? Realtors with properties to rent, property managers, websites I should search, etc?

Thank you!

The local newspaper's website is Home - South Carolina Now (SCNow.com). Their classified ads may help you find a place. West Florence and South Florence offer the best neighborhoods. Look for homes in the Oakdale subdivision or near Second Loop Rd, Third Loop Rd, or south Irby Street.

You should avoid downtown Florence. This is the area around Dargan St., Church St. Evans St. and Darlington Street. Also avoid east Florence (around the airport) and north Florence (north Irby Street).
