Still waiting for a response to my inquiry about the movement to appeal the 14th amendment and how the CE would assign status thereafter...

Interesting that you never answered this question either.
Is there a double-standard being applied, or another explanation to be offered?

I find it incredibly interesting the level of intolerance shown by these "Christian Exodus" lunatics which seems to completely contradict the teachings of the Bible that they revere so much. I also think that it is amazing that they think they will come to this state and take it over. How's that working out for you so far?
As a military veteran, I fought to preserve freedom for this country so that people would be able to live here as free men and women, not as sociopathic idiots hell-bent on imposing their religious, moral, ethical, and social views on those around them. It seems as though their way of thinking might be a little better suited for someplace like (former) USSR.
just my 2 cents

I'd consider voting for Colin Powell, or even Condiliza Rice. I'll take either one of them over Obama, Clinton, McCain, or any other Democrat. Newt Gingrich, however, will be who I will be campaigning for if he decides to run.

Again, I find it ironic that folks are so worried about them "taking over" but then say it will never happen. If y'all don't think it's a big deal, has no hope of success, will not happen, etc. then why be so worried about it? Going back to an earlier post, "maybe deep down inside you do think they will succeed"

And of course anything that CE might do would be far worse than what we currently have with our republicans & democrats.

I think they should be free to establish communities where members agree to abide by their rules.
However, I don't care for gangs of people taking over the government someplace and imposing their rules on others. As a white, heterosexual Republican, I felt 'ganged up upon' in San Francisco.
Same principle.

I agree with you, give my Condi Rice or Thomas Sowell over Osama Obama any day.

Thanks Mark, that is awesome. It doesnt sound like a cult to me, what are they doing to its members to make it a cult?
it would have to follow certain patterns of cult behavior, not follow patterns of what Settlers have been doing in the Americas since we were founded.
Pilgrims came and settled, Quakers, Mennonites, Hutterites, Amish, Puritans, I dont see any of them as cults, so why would CE be any different??
