In August of last year I was involved in minor taffic accident in Columbia. I was given a two point ticket and told I did not have to go to court as long as I paid my fine before the court day. I live in Greer and if I went to court it I probably would have ended up missing a full day of work. I got a cashiers check from my bank and and sent in a couple weeks before the court date and I thought it was over.

Today I got an e-mail from my credit monitoring company saying I had a new public record. My first thought was they were just now getting the information on my ticket, but a few things on the record are worring.

Mainly this line Disposition Forfeiture / Criminal Traffic

How did a too fast for conditions ticket turn into Criminal Traffic and does Forfeiture mean they took my license. If thats the case I only guess they did not get my cashiers check. I called the State Troopers office but they told me I had to call DMV on Monday.

ETA The only charge againt me showing is driving too fast for conditions

On the dmv website I was able to confirm my DL was not be suppended, but I would still interested to see if there are any free statewide or just Richland county sites where I could lookup my case.
