Default Crowfield vs Wescott vs West Ashly

My wife and I are new to the area and we are debating on which area to live, Crowfield Plantlation, Wescott Plantation or West Ashley area.
West Ashley seems more expensive but my commute seems like it would be a little better (I work in North Charleston). Any suggestions or comments. How long does it take to get from Crowfield to 26/526 intersection in the morning, around 7:00? What about for Wescott?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I can't give you time amounts because I don't do the morning commute thing, but coming from Crowfield or Wescott, expect to get slowed down every morning around the Ashley Phosphate exit. My advice, the more you can stay off of I-26 the better.

Hi! I am new to SC, recently moved to Goose Creek. I often travel the routes you are speaking of with little or no slowdown. It often takes me longer to get from Redbank Road to Stratford Hi than it does to get from RR to North Charleston. If it were me, I would find the home and neighborhood I like best and then buy. E
