Saw lots of no swimming signs at Sullivans Is. Where are the safest beaches to swim located?

The undertow is very bad in the areas where the signs are posted.

I agree. The only place that I have seen these signs are around the bridge between Sullivans and IOP (I'm sure theres a few in other places too), but this are is a VERY dangerous place to swim/surf. If you enter Sullivans from one of the main paths (straight out from the SI connector bridge), there are no danger signs and you can swim. You can also swim on Isle of Palms and Folly Beach.

It is at Breach Inlet the undertow is very bad and has been for years. Also at the far end for the same reason. Folly Beach can have bad ripe tides also so be careful. I almos drown there myself a few years ago. Thank Goodness a Surfer helped me and I an a excellent swimmer.
