Default Moving Trucks to SC

Has anyone used Ryder trucks to move to SC? I'm moving from NJ to SC in Jan. and would like to pick the truck up, drive down and then drop the truck off in SC. I keep hearing horror stories about U-Haul but good stories about Penske.

Micah Hall is on a distinguished road
I have never used Ryder. But I have used U-Haul a number of times for one-way moves and have never had any problems with them at all.
