1. Which campus is better? USCB in Beaufort or the USCB Hilton ahead Gateway campus?

2. How are the athletics at those schools? I know USCB in Beaufort is part of the sun conference. How is attendance at football/basketball games?

3. How is the track and field team? My fastest 5K time is 16:09.

4. How is the computer science program at the campuses?

Thanks for the help.

Does USCB even have a football or basketball team? They aren't showing up in the sun conference standings.

no it is a branch school of USC in Columbia. The Cola campus has all the major sports.

The Beaufort campus is the main campus of USCB, the HH campus only has a select number of programs.

The Sand Sharks have neither football and basketball. Men compete in baseball, cross country, golf, and track and field. Women compete in cross country, golf, soccer, softball, and track and field.

The Hilton Head Campus will host the hospitality management program.

That has changed. Most classes are now held on the Bluffton campus where the population center is in Beaufort County. There is zero room for growth around the Beaufort campus. It will eventually be closed and sold because it is on a valuable piece of land.

Will they change the name? To me, USC-Beaufort is an odd name for a college in Bluffton.

All three campus are or will be within Beaufort County; therefore, the name is still logical.

Calling it USC-Hilton Head would help boost enrollment. Few people are going to know HH is in Beaufort county.

The satellite campuses are designed for locals. And I'd further venture that changing the name to HH would have the opposite effect.
