The remnants of Alberto, presently a subtropical depression, should be passing through South Carolina today and tomorrow.

In addition to a snow event, South Carolina has not had bad weather events yet this year.

At least pre-seasons tropical systems have shown no relationship to what the rest of the season holds, so we shall see.

I find snow events to be more dangerous than tropical storms.
