Do you realize that the detour itself is what causes these kind of back ups? No matter where the detour starts, there would be a major back up starting at the point of the detour. Did you plan accordingly knowing that you were traveling through a tropical storm in a low lying area prone to flooding?

God forbid you were inconvenienced. People flooded out of their homes and businesses. And you were stuck on an interstate for 4 hours. How did you ever survive? Maybe you should seek treatment for the suffering.
