Think of the jobs and revenue that would be lost if it closed. Lastly, the place has been there since 1950 so it must be doing something right. Yea but they aren't doing anything with the money. That's the thing. The money that they do bring in, they could at least try to fix up the place or at least use it for the surrounding community.
I live about 1 mile from here as well and I can honestly say that before the owner passed this place used to get a lot of business, but it's been going downhill since. Most days you pass by and it's dull now. Before, you could pass by and it was a lot livelier, even during off-seasons. It was always tacky and that was a part of it's charm, but now it's just more run-down.
